In this research, analysis of a cogeneration system harnessing solar energy with the purpose producing electricity and freshwater is carried out. A parabolic trough collector (PTC), reverse osmosis (RO) desalination steam Rankine cycle are considered as primary modules system. Optimization conducted on basis Non-Dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm II (NSGA-II), while Engineering Equation Solver (EES) used to cope presented thermodynamic model.
